The Role - Koenigsegg Supplier Quality Engineer

The role is to act as key interface between the Koenigsegg Research and Development (R&D) Organisation, Supply Chain Organisation, Quality Organisation, and Manufacturing. As such. you will be the primary contact for R&D, Quality and Sourcing projects related to supplier manufacturing and quality requirements.

When new suppliers are required for a project, you will also actively participate in the Supplier Selection process to ensure that the correct supplier is chosen for the project. Furthermore, you will ensure that our suppliers processes which affect the company’s ability to deliver according to zero-defect principle are effective and robust.

When necessary, you will also either lead or participate in Supplier Development projects to ensure our supply base meets our Koenigsegg’ needs and objectives.

In this role, you will work with advanced diagnostic tools, analyze technical issues, support technicians and coordinators, and contribute to clear and structured troubleshooting methods. You will play an important part in ensuring efficient information flow, accurate issue handling, and well-documented diagnostic processes across the organization.

Responsibilities


- Diagnose technical issues: Independently analyze vehicle issues using diagnostic tools (e.g. CAN analyzers, oscilloscopes, voltmeters etc.) to determine root causes without relying on source code access.
- Bridge R&D and our Legends division: Act as the main interface between development engineers and aftermarket technicians and coordinators, ensuring accurate information flow and minimizing developer involvement.

The Manufacturing Engineering Team

We are looking for a new teammate to join the Ghost Squadron! We are a small, multi-cultural team of engineers representing the bi-directional link between R&D and Production to successfully launch and maintain new cars and projects. As a Manufacturing Engineer at Koenigsegg you should have an engineering background with a high sense of quality. The Koenigsegg CNC and Fabrication Development department team works with every part of our organisation. Our close, positive and enthusiastic team develops and manufactures parts and technologies for our past, current and future needs. We also deliver standards and procedures so that the quality of the parts can be consistent and marvellously perfect.

Our awesome team now needs to grow, and we are looking for a CNC Operator and CAM Technician to help us develop procedures and deliver high quality parts. The parts will then be passed on for final assembly to either our prototype department, aftermarket department or production.

We produce everything from parts, to jigs and tools. There will also be times when we try out new materials and test new innovative processes. The materials require care and attention to detail and shape.

You will need to carry the work all the way from CAM preparation to machining the parts making sure all parts are up to our standards.

Previous experience with CAM preparation and 5 axis milling is required. Preferably used  working with Catia, Siemens and Haidenhain systems.

You need to be accurate and have the ability to work focused both in the team and to be self driven.

As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will conduct work integrating model-based generated code and writing C-code, drivers for microcontroller peripherals, understand the legacy code, and quickly fix the bugs. The Koenigsegg Composite Development department team works with the future of composites. Our close, positive and enthusiastic team develops and manufactures parts and technologies for our past, current and future needs. We also deliver standards and procedures so that the quality of the parts can be consistent and marvellously perfect.

Our awesome team now needs to grow and we are looking for Laminators to help us develop procedures and deliver high quality parts. The parts will then be passed on for final assembly to either our prototype department, aftermarket department or production.

We produce both parts and tooling for prototypes and production vehicles. Preparations for tooling and working with master tooling is also a part of the job. There will also be times when we try out new materials and test new innovative processes. The materials require care and attention to detail and shape.

You will learn about different lamination methods and work closely with a skilled international team. Finishing and repairing composites will also be a part of the job.

No previous skills with composites is needed as we will educate you in every aspect possible. But it is meritorious if you have previous lamination skills.

You need to be accurate and have the ability to work focused both in the team and self driven.

The Role

The responsibilities associated with this position put a strong requirement on your ability to cooperate with other departments in other technical domains. The development activities are primarily focused on electrical harness schematics and electrical architecture for our cars.

Responsibilities


- Taking ownership of the electrical system schematics of the vehicle (harness schematics)

- Design and create Harness schematics, wiring diagrams, BOM, cables list, connectors etc.

- Work closely with mechanical, prototype and manufacturing engineers in the integration of harness and electrical components

- Work with purchasing department and external suppliers for components sourcing

- Experience developing system schematics, wiring diagrams and electrical systems.

- Good knowledge of manufacturing aspects of wireless harness design both electrical and mechanical.

- Ability to troubleshoot issues in bench and prototype vehicles



- Ability to translate wire harness requirements to schematics and wire list data

- Proven experience with physical wire harness architectural design

- Familiarity with software design and software systems

- Experience drawing schematics and wire list data for wire harness

- Experience working with manufacturing methods, fabrication or assembly processes
- Fluency in English

We are looking for new employees to join our pursuit of ultimate performance. In this role, you will be working with the software that controls the body and comfort of the car, such as the famous “Ghost Mode” function.

The body controllers and the software that goes in them are fully developed in-house. It will be your mission, in close collaboration with your team, to formulate new concepts and algorithms for the body-related applications. This is the perfect opportunity for someone who wants to get first-hand experience in how innovation comes to life and become highly proficient in developing software from scratch.

Main responsibilities:


- Actively support the design, implementation, integration and debugging low level and application-level software for in-house body controllers

- Support our production line, prototype, and service department

- Play an active role in the development of our ways of working

- Participate in various cross-functional projects between Hardware Engineers, Software Engineers, Designers and Technicians

You will report directly to the Body Control & Comfort Team Lead and be located at our main production facility in Ängelholm, Sweden.
We are looking for someone that is naturally curious, eager to learn and passionate about developing embedded software from scratch. You thrive in small teams that operate in highly dynamic, cross-functional working environments and see every challenge as a learning experience.

Further skills needed:


- Proven hands-on working experience within embedded software engineering in C. Typically development, trouble-shooting for both low- and high-level embedded software in real-time environment

- Embedded systems debugging skills

- High standards for clean code quality, maintainability, and performance

- Knowledge of Git or similar version control system

- Adequate knowledge of reading schematics and data sheets for components

As we operate in an international environment. Fluency in written and spoken English is a must.

It would also be considered meritorious, but not required if you have:


- Previous Formula Student or Motorsport experience (or similar)

- Knowledge of C++ and Python

- Knowledge of how a car and its systems and components work

- Experience working with CAN, LIN protocols and similar diagnostics and automotive tools and standards.

The Koenigsegg software and electronics department is responsible for designing and developing software and electronics for the in-vehicle infotainment system, electronic control units (ECU) and connected services. We are working very closely with the other engineering departments, production and service/aftersales. We are now looking to expand the infotainment, cloud and mobile app team with a skilled and experienced full-stack web developer.

The focus of this position will be to maintain and further develop a customer facing Mobile App and its supporting web services for our fleet of connected vehicles.



Responsibilities



- Development and maintenance of a mobile application and its supporting web services

- Unit testing and regression testing

- Formulate and prototype new concepts

- Support our production and service departments

Requirements



- Experience in mobile app development using React Native
- Experience with back-end technologies such as NodeJS


- High standards for code quality, usability, maintainability, and performance

- A keen eye for good user experience and ability to turn ideas into functional and good looking user interfaces


- Ability to work in a dynamic ever-changing environment
- Fluency in the English language

Good to have


- Experience in back-end technologies such as NginX, Postgre, message brokers and cloud infrastructure
- Experience in front-end web development using TypeScript, ReactJS, HTML, CSS, and state management systems such as Zustand and the React context API
- Experience with developing security critical software


- Automotive experience is a plus but not essential

- University degree in Computer Science or other relevant education is desirable but not essential

- Experience with relevant standards and regulations such as GDPR, ISO 27000 is a plus

- Experience with agile software development process
