The Manufacturing Engineering Team

We are looking for a new teammate to join the Ghost Squadron! We are a small, multi-cultural team of engineers representing the bi-directional link between R&D and Production to successfully launch and maintain new cars and projects. We are looking for an individual who has a large a passion for engineering to join us on our upcoming challenges. You will be joining a close-knit, multi-disciplinary group of different backgrounds and ages who work together in a demanding and rewarding environment to reach our goals.

Responsibilities

As a CAD Engineer within the Manufacturing Engineering department, you will work both in our industrialization projects, and supporting our production operations.


- Design and develop equipment, tools, jigs, templates etc. to be used in the production

- Evaluate existing manufacturing processes and workflows to identify areas that could benefit from changes and improvements

- Create processes and procedures to help the company meet set goals within performance and quality quotas

- Participate in brainstorming sessions and cross-department meetings to ensure collaboration and needs

- Devise and find solutions for existing production tool problems and/or shortages

- Develop standardized designs and work under existing regulations

Main Responsibilities:

- Leading troubleshooting and root cause analysis activities related to deviations and quality issues.
- Managing internal and supplier claims for quality deviations.
- Contacting external suppliers regarding detected non-conformities.
- Collaborating closely with Quality Engineers to enhance and optimize quality processes.
- Coordinating activities with production, planning, purchasing, and service departments to ensure an uninterrupted production process.
- Supporting the main assembly line by evaluating compliance with technical documentation, company standards, order requirements, and completeness.
- Working closely with the Production Department to provide feedback and enhance quality standards.
- Conducting analyses and preparing quality reports for detected non-conformities.

- Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point).

Homologation Department is now looking for an exceptional Homologation Engineer who will be responsible for the Passive Safety regulations and standards. If you are ready for a challenge of a lifetime and be a part of an exciting journey, maybe you are the right person we are looking for!

Your responsibilities will include:


- Leading the planning, execution, and certification of components and systems to support global Homologation for both new and existing vehicle programs on Passive Safety Regulations and Standards.

- Assisting R&D teams by interpreting regulatory requirements, offering expert opinions on controversial design issues, and justifying decisions to ensure Koenigsegg products are designed to meet global requirements.

- Monitoring running changes and updating type approval/certificates as necessary to maintain compliance.

- Creating Homologation test plans and executing/supporting pre-Homologation and Homologation tests for on time completion.

- Following up the new published or upcoming regulations to be sure about their effects on Koenigsegg vehicles and taking necessary actions.

We expect you to :


- Demonstrate a deep undesrtanding of Global Homologation Processes.
- Have strong expertise of Passive Safety related UN Regulations and F/CMVSS Standards applicable to components/systems/vehicles to conduct your tasks.

- Accurately understand and interpret compplex regulatory requirements, communicate these effectively to internal teams and external authorities.

- Actively collaborate with R&D teams to ensure that current and upcoming passive safety requirements are integrated into the design process.

- Determine appropriate test configurations for worst case scenarios, project detailed test plans and, assist in the scheduling certification tests to ensure compliance.

- Be prepared to both challenge and be challenged on technical matters while executing above-mentioned tasks.

The role
As a Manufacturing Engineer at Koenigsegg you should have an engineering background with a high sense of quality. This position requires drive and focus in developing and implement new processes as well as improving existing ones'. You must want to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and innovative company, leading the way in the Hypercar and Megacar manufacturing industry. In the role, you will work both in our industrialization projects and support in our production operations to add value to the brand.

What you'll do


- Own a specific manufacturing domain.

- Perform engineering analysis to reduce production downtime and outages.

- Drive process improvements to utilize and optimize equipment, reduce process variation, process waste, and secure availability.

- P-FMEA and DFM/DFA analysis to provide Manufacturing Engineering inputs to R&D

- Define equipment and tooling needs.

- Perform capacity studies, including time-settings, line balancing, and Value Stream Mapping (VSM).

- Develop standardized manufacturing operations and working routines under existing regulations.

- Develop standard operating procedures to help the company meet set goals to the agreed timings, performance, functionality, and quality quotas.

- Support prototype builds.

- Set-up new processes and participate in major productivity improvements as well as technology development to full production deployment.

- Lead and support technical reviews and issue resolution activities.

What we are looking for

- MSc in Mechanical Engineering (or similar discipline) with 2+ years of relevant work experience or BSc in Mechanical

- Experience in Catia V5/V6 and 3DX.

- Experienced within technical drawings and documentation such as process/work instructions.

- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills in English, both spoken and written.

- Knowledge and understanding of manual assembly processes, 5S, and Lean Manufacturing.

Meritorious could also be:


- Experience from manual assembly in automotive

- Budget planning for new projects and expansions.

- Use of PLM systems; (i.e Delmia), ERP (i.e Monitor), and MES (i:e M-brain).

The Koenigsegg Upholstery team manufactures the complete (and awesome) interiors of all Koenigsegg cars, focusing on the running production of current car models. A majority of what you see and feel sitting inside a Koenigsegg will most likely have passed through our highly skilled department.

The Koenigsegg Composite Development department team works with the future of composites. Our close, positive and enthusiastic team develops and manufactures parts and technologies for our past, current and future needs. We also deliver standards and procedures so that the quality of the parts can be consistent and marvellously perfect.

Our awesome team now needs to grow and we are looking for technicians to help us develop procedures and deliver high quality parts. The parts will then be passed on for final assembly to either our prototype department, aftermarket department or production.

We produce both parts and tooling for prototypes and production vehicles. Preparations for tooling and working with master tooling is also a part of the job. There will also be times when we try out new materials and test new innovative processes. The materials require care and attention to detail and shape.

You will learn about different lamination and surfacing methods and work closely with a skilled international team. Finishing and repairing composites will also be a part of the job.

No previous skills with composites is needed as we will educate you in every aspect possible. But it is meritorious if you have previous lamination skills.

You need to be accurate and have the ability to work focused both in the team and self driven.

The Koenigsegg Software & Electronics department is responsible for designing and developing software, electronics and supporting tools for all Koenigsegg’s hyper cars. We are working very closely with the other engineering departments, production and service/aftersales. We are now looking to expand the team with a skilled and experienced software engineer with the ability to transform product requirements and production needs to state of the art solutions and further advance the embedded system technologies in our cars.

The Manufacturing Engineering Team

We are looking for a new teammate to join the Ghost Squadron! We are a small, multi-cultural team of engineers representing the bi-directional link between R&D and Production to successfully launch and maintain new cars and projects.
