As Dynamic Systems Controls Engineer you will be part of our small and agile Dynamic Systems Control team. We are part of the Koenigsegg Powertrain Software and Testing Team that is responsible for developing, diagnosing, and calibrating vehicle functions in C to control all aspects of vehicle powertrain systems. The strongest emphasis is on the overall safety of the vehicle while still maintaining an extreme level of performance.

Responsibilities

- Design and debug application-level software for lateral and longitudinal vehicle dynamics control, both in embedded systems and desktop environments.
- Formulate and prototype new concepts.
- Support our production and service departments.
- Work with a small, agile cross-functional team of hardware engineers, application/UI software engineers, QA/Validation, and designers.
- Participate in the development of our way of working.

Need to have

- Strong background in Control System theory.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and debug software issues in complex systems.
- Experience in model based software development using Matlab/Simulink.

In-depth knowledge in C/C++.

Experience of software development processes and practices, such as version control, debugging, and testing.

M.-Sc. in Computer Science, Control Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, or similar.

- Release items in the ERP system: Create and maintain items to enable production and logistics processes. You will ensure the items have the correct data and are added to the correct structure. If there are replaced items, you will make sure that the items are handled correctly based on the information from other departments.
- BOM: Ensure product quality and structure in Bill of Materials based on information of charted drawings and other documents. This includes making sure that the BOM has correct items and quantities, which items should be picked to which work center and specify when different operations are to be performed.

Configurator: Responsible for the set-up and maintenance of the configurator. You will create and maintain product data within the configurator.

Job Responsibilities
Design test plans, procedures and equipment to accurately assess new products, functions or software updates according to technical specification and customer requirements.
Plan and perform vehicle and rig testing at Koenigsegg test facilities or at test tracks in Europe
Identify, analyze and create detailed records of problems that appear during testing, such as mechanical and software weaknesses, functionality issues, bugs and faults, and work directly with development team to find solutions and develop retesting procedures.
Track problems, resolutions, and bug fixes throughout testing and create a comprehensive database of weaknesses and successful mitigation techniques.
Create detailed, step-by-step documentation of test procedures for each phase or project as needed to ensure replicability, compliance with standards, and growth of company knowledge base.
Communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues, production, development and service team to facilitate quick resolution of problems and accurate documentation of successes.
