As Dynamic Systems Controls Engineer you will be part of our small and agile Dynamic Systems Control team. We are part of the Koenigsegg Powertrain Software and Testing Team that is responsible for developing, diagnosing, and calibrating vehicle functions in C to control all aspects of vehicle powertrain systems. The strongest emphasis is on the overall safety of the vehicle while still maintaining an extreme level of performance.

Responsibilities

- Design and debug application-level software for lateral and longitudinal vehicle dynamics control, both in embedded systems and desktop environments.
- Formulate and prototype new concepts.
- Support our production and service departments.
- Work with a small, agile cross-functional team of hardware engineers, application/UI software engineers, QA/Validation, and designers.
- Participate in the development of our way of working.

Need to have

- Strong background in Control System theory.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and debug software issues in complex systems.
- Experience in model based software development using Matlab/Simulink.

In-depth knowledge in C/C++.

Experience of software development processes and practices, such as version control, debugging, and testing.

M.-Sc. in Computer Science, Control Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, or similar.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Strong Team work skills, proactive way of working, outside of the box thinking.

- Professional level of English.

Nice to have

- Formula Student, FSAE, Motorsports, and/or Automotive experience.
- Project car or self-maintained track day car a plus.
- Strong ability to troubleshoot automotive systems, both electrical and mechanical.
- Strong ability to analyze the impact of a change on the car as a whole, not just one subsystem.
- Experience in working with ISO 26262 applications.

In this role, you will work with a dynamic group in a cross-functional environment. You will play a key role in supporting the implementation of data management so that the data is complete and accurate, using our data quality procedures and standards.

Responsibilities

- Release items in the ERP system: Create and maintain items to enable production and logistics processes. You will ensure the items have the correct data and are added to the correct structure. If there are replaced items, you will make sure that the items are handled correctly based on the information from other departments.
- BOM: Ensure product quality and structure in Bill of Materials based on information of charted drawings and other documents. This includes making sure that the BOM has correct items and quantities, which items should be picked to which work center and specify when different operations are to be performed.
- Maintain existing manufacturing orders at the car level: You will synchronize existing orders to ensure that the orders are updated and kept up to date with the ongoing and implemented design changes.
- Configurator: Responsible for the set-up and maintenance of the configurator. You will create and maintain product data within the configurator.
- Training and support: Train and support other departments in all questions concerning Monitor, master data processes and item structures.

Need to have

- Experience of daily work in an ERP system; preferrably Monitor
- Good communication skills, both verbally and written in Swedish and English

CFD Engineer:
We are looking for a CFD engineer to strengthen our team in Ängelholm. As a CFD engineer at Koenigsegg you will perform analyses of both internal and external flow. You will join a small team of engineers working in a fast pace environment with short decision paths. As a person you work well both in teams and on your own. You are ambitious, curious and have a genuine passion for technology and vehicles.
Responsibilities will include:
CFD simulations of vehicle aerodynamics and cooling systems (OpenFoam).
Develop methodologies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our CFD tools and workflow.
Support and optimise existing CFD tools including monitoring and resolving issues.
Work within the group to understand correlation aspects and develop methods and processes to improve this.
Ensure that CFD simulations and analysis carried out within the department are state of the art and aligned with the capability of the tools.
Help with design and development work when required.
Perform simulations and analyse performance.
Communicate results, conclusions and provide insights for design changes.


Requirements:
MSc in aerodynamics with strong emphasis to method development (PhD would be an advantage)
Minimum 3 years working experience with CFD.
Experience in developing, testing, release and maintenance of CFD software code.
Advanced skills in OpenFoam, ANSA, Paraview and Python.
Good knowledge of Catia (surfacing) would be advantageous .
Experience in Automotive or Motorsports is required.
Experience from Formula Student would be an advantage.
Fluent in English.

CFD Engineer
We are looking for a CFD engineer to strengthen our team in Ängelholm. As a CFD engineer at Koenigsegg you will perform analyses of both internal and external flow. You will join a small team of engineers working in a fast pace environment with short decision paths. As a person you work well both in teams and on your own. You are ambitious, curious and have a genuine passion for technology and vehicles.


Your responsibilities will include:
Building CFD models, preparation for simulation
Method development
Perform simulations and analyse performance
Surface optimization for exterior and under hood design
Optimization of aerodynamical criteria’s
Analyze the thermal management of the vehicle
Planning physical tests and calibration of the results
Communicate results, conclusions and provide insights for design changes



Requirements
A MSc in relevant field
Minimum 5 years experience with CFD
Advanced skills in OpenFoam
Advanced skills in Catia or other surface preparation tool
Advanced skills in ParaView
Experience in the Automotive and preferably motorsports industry
Experience from Formula Student is meritorious
Experience in analysing composite structures is meritorious
Fluent in English
