We are looking to strengthen our department with a new colleague in the position as Manager for Manufacturing Engineering. As head of the manufacturing engineering team, you will be developing and implementing the capacity expansion strategy and long-term project plan and ensuring that investments- and development projects are delivered in scope, on-time and budget. Developing and maintaining the facility including auxiliary systems supporting or production.
You will lead the Manufacturing Engineering team that today consists of nine people with different backgrounds, knowledge, and experience. As a Manager for the team, you will coach and support individual project leaders and in their continued personal development and refined project execution skills.

What you will be doing
Ensure production quality processes are implemented in a manner that fulfils all regulatory
Requirements while at the same time are optimal in terms of cost/benefit for the company
Review project plans and ensure critical project milestones deliveries
Cost and investments are within Expenses and Capex budgets
Keeping manufacturing processes in validated status.
Following the Quality Management System at HemoCue
Management of the facility including maintenance, fire protection, handling inflammables and explosives, perimeter security and contact with landlord and authorities

What we need to see
Bachelor’s in engineering in relevant field or similar
5 years of job experience from manufacturing technology in Med. Tech or Tech. industry
5 years of experience of management or project lead
Broad technical skills/interest within machine/process development
Knowledge about standards and/or regulations affecting the quality management system e.g., ISO 13485/US FDA Quality System Regulation, standards and/or regulations affecting the environmental management system ISO 14001
Knowledge of process optimizations/validation according to Quality Systems Regulations
Fluent English in writing and speaking

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
We are looking for a Group Industrialisation Officer who will be responsible to deliver projects as per agreed annual goals set together with the Group CEO office and Group companies. The main responsibility will be to oversee the Group Industrialisation efforts, with the responsibility for designing, planning and execution.
To manage a workforce including recruiting, evaluating, retaining and replacing employees.
Work closely with Group peer managers to ensure coordinated and synchronized delivery of milestones and to ensure a coordinated prioritisation and delivery maximum volume of top quality product on time and budget.
To provide motivation, support and guidance to all employees and ensure that all employees follow our standards and safety guidelines.


Skill Requirements:
Significant production and industrialisation experience.
Strong management and leadership capabilities and experience.
Understanding of safety and health norms.
Basic business understanding to adhere to company business plan and goals.
Familiarity with regulatory framework.
Extensive communication skills with employees, peers and management
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbally and written
Master or bachelor's degree in Management or other relevant training in combination with at least 6-10 years’ experience in the field
