The Development engineer, Electronic at HemoCue is responsible for documentation and test of design changes within the Sustaining Engineering department, mainly electronic changes.
This position is part of the R&D team located in Ängelholm and will be on-site. At HemoCue, our vision is to do things easier, to do things better, and to do them right.
You will be a part of the Sustaining Engineering team and report to the Director of Sustaining Engineering. You will be responsible for planning, design, implementation, documentation, and test of electronic modules. You will also investigate customer complaints to find cause to malfunctioning devices. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Perform product support activities for current products, primary instrument activities
Cross-functional work with operations department and/or subcontractor by solving problems,
Coordinating, verifying and approving changes to HemoCue products
Investigation and reporting instrument complaints with no valid repair instruction
Cross-functional work regarding repair instructions and improvements on Technical Service and Repair Centers
Execute and/or participate in product lifecycle activities, such as CAPAs, engineering change orders, cost down activities and general sustaining engineering activities

The essential requirements of the job include:
University degree: Master of Science, Bachelor of Science or Engineering or equivalent work experience within electronics
Knowledge of analog and digital electronics
Experience from working with electronics schematics & PCB’s and using tools such as Altium Designer
Your main communication language will be Swedish, but we expect that you are fluent in English
Knowledge about ISO 13485, QSReg and Design Control
Knowledge in Firmware

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Experience from product development of medical devices
Experience from design changes for medical devices

Technical expert in High Voltage measurements, instrumentation and data acquisition focused on e-drive testing

Define test procedures for High Voltage e-motor and inverter development program.

Setup test equipment for High Voltage measurements on mechanical and electrical systems.

Perform data analysis, prepare and share test reports.

THE ROLE
We are looking for a Electronics Design Engineer, who will join the Koenigsegg electronics design team and be part of the development of Koenigsegg’s advanced electrical system platforms.
In this role you take responsibility from start to finish when it comes to development of the electrical platforms.
The work includes:
ECU interfaces definition
Harness design and integration
Taking manufacturing aspects into account, test and validation,
Expanding the harness development team by taking part in recruitment, mentoring and training
Understanding, adopting and refining best design practices.
You will own complete vehicle harness design for all Koenigsegg projects.
You will be:
Working with mechanical engineers for ECU packaging and harness routing.
Working with Koenigsegg Electrical Department for in-house prototype harness manufacturing.
Working with our prototyping department for harness and ECU integration in test vehicles.
Involved in hands-on troubleshooting both on bench and in prototype vehicles.
Working with Koenigsegg’s purchasing department and external suppliers for components sourcing and subcontracted manufacturing. 
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
English on a full professional proficiency level.
Profound knowledge and experience in design of schematics and harness layout.
Demonstrated successful experience in vehicle electrical development within a product design and manufacturing environment.
Proficient with tools and technologies as scopes, CAN bus, harness design tools etc.
Experience with automotive system architecture.
Experience in automotive high voltage systems.
Experience in design for EMC optimization.
Experience in design for automotive environments with relevant safety requirements.
Experience with Freescale processors.
Experience with high-speed signal routing.
Experience in design of analogue circuitry.
Knowledge in control theory and diagnostics.
Degree in Electrical Engineering a plus.
Good interpersonal skills and ability to train others.
