Sweden-based OXE Marine was founded in 2012 with the ambition to create the world’s first high-performance diesel outboard developed primarily for commercial use. We are driven by a passion to develop, improve, keep building and finalize our first diesel outboard, the OXE Diesel, in the spring of 2014. Business Controller and Digital Operations Manager

We are looking for an analytical, logical thinking and “hands-on” Business Controller who has an interest in building up digital systems including ERP systems, BI Systems, and other commercial systems which ultimately aim to grow the business. The candidate should have a track record of business acumen with a focus on developing a business for a digital future. The role is permanent, and you will report directly to the CFO and Head of Commercial Operations.
The role falls part of a finance and commercial team where there is already a financial and administration function to take care of day-to-day activities. The role is focused on taking the business to the next level with a digital framework as a platform for growth. The candidate therefore needs to have solid business acumen from a financial background but also have an interest in using systems to make daily administration more efficient and building up business intelligence with a commercial goal of increasing the overall business development.
The role will interact closely with the Financial Controller for day-to-day operations and the Order Manager as well as the finance team in the US.
Requirements for the position:
University degree in economics or equivalent
A few years of experience from working with auditing and accounting
Qualified account background is preferable
Solid knowledge of working in ERP and Business Intelligence Systems,
Interest to setup new ERP and BI systems after understanding how the company transactions flows work.
Good business understanding and a willingness to actively participate and influence the company´s development.
Experience from working for listed companies.
Good knowledge in English
Excellent knowledge of Excel with ability to build financial models
Willing to travel to US to implement systems and integrate the new entities acquired in the US.
