The person we are looking for
We are looking for a Software Test Engineer to support verifying our software functionality in virtual, Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL), and finally integrated system (dyno) testing. The person needs to have the initiative and drive to develop him/herself within the team. That also means someone who's also a good listener, and can trust their teammates to execute and deliver under pressure.
We’re striving to create a novel product, and push the boundaries of what is possible. Sometimes that means failing early and often! This job grants a large amount of freedom and responsibility, and being pushed to achieve results. Skills & Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor or master degree in a relevant field (Electronics, software, computer, etc.)
Experience writing software (C, Python)
Applicable software test experience
Hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing
Comfortable reading, understanding and troubleshooting functions in C or similar
Writing test procedures and documentation
A strong initiative towards structure and documentation
Fluent in English with strong communication skills

Preferred Skills and Experience:
Engine (dyno) testing
Experience with XCP/CCP, CAN, OBD-II and other automotive standards

The RoleThe Koenigsegg embedded team belongs to the engineering department within Koenigsegg and is responsible for designing and developing software and electronics for the in-vehicle infotainment system, electronic control units and supporting tools. We are working very closely to other departments like prototype, production and service.We are now looking to expand the development team with a skilled and experienced test engineer with a strong passion for quality.The focus of this position will be managing and performing test activities like regression testing, performance testing, and other system level testing activities for our in-vehicle-infotainment system and other ECUs in the system. ResponsibilitiesBe instrumental in defining and building up a quality assurance team within Koenigsegg.Be part of quality assurance team defining and executing function and system tests for our software and hardware deliverables.Be part of driving the work being aligned with ISO 26262 development process.Manage requirements, test cases, test plans including execution.Formulate and prototype new test concepts and strategies.Support our production and service departments.Work together with small, agile cross-functional teams of hardware engineers, application/UI software engineers, QA/Validation, and designers.Continuously improve our existing working methods.
